NDTS is the acronym for National Dual Training System. 'Dual' means training in two learning situations where training is a joint venture between companies and training institutions.

Duration is based on the scope and level of Certification
 
 
Practical-Theory Ratio
 
70 - 80 % Practical training in real work situations
30 - 20 % Related theory classes at training centres
 
 
 
 
Method of Delivery
Day Release System
- For example, practical training for 4 days in the companyfollowed by one day of theory class at a related training centre.


Block Release System (if necessary )
- For example,  3-4 months practical training followed by 1-4 weeks of related theory class.
 
 
 
Trainee
SPM graduate and/or salaried employee at work who
is selected by the company. The company is not bound to offer a job after the training.
 
 
Training Allowance
(If the training is conducted for 2 years)
 
Semester 1 – RM 350.00 per month
Semester 2 – RM 400.00 per month
Semester 3 – RM 450.00 per month
Semester 4 – RM 500.00 per month
 
 
Award of Certificate
 
K-Worker Certificate, equivalent to SKM (Level 3) or DKM
Qualification (Level 4) or DLKM (Level 5) approved by
JPK and relevant employers’ organisations.
