Assessment Overview

How you are assessed in the course, daily assessments and your grades

We assess you on your skills and tasks through several different means. Some of these mean have more importance, or "weight" allocated to them, then others.

Daily Assessments

In the daily assessments category of your assessments, you are marked twice daily in the following areas:
  • Manner and Attitude
  • Appearance
  • Hygiene and Sterilisation
  • Preparation and Clean-Up
  • Performance
If you get in, do the work required to the standard required, you should pass this category without any problems.

Attendance

You are assessed each day on attendance. You have three marks available: Absent, late or present.

We mark attendance more than one time a day. If you leave and a tutor hasn’t dismissed you, we will mark you absent for the whole period or the whole day. You are required to let us know if you are leaving class early so we can account for you if there is an emergency.

You need to meet the minimum standard of hours in order to pass the course. Even if you pass all the other sections of the course, if you haven’t met the attendance requirements, you will not qualify.

- Each coach must attend the class before the class starts every day.

- Coaches are not allowed to go out at learning.

- Trainees must attend and participate in their respective classes.

- The presence of a coach would be taken at the first time and after the break up

- Coaches who do not attend classes due to illness or the like must notify the responsible party (through a letter of support parents / guardians, wardens, or medical certificate).

- Trainer skipping (class / lecture) is an offense.

- The presence of a coach must achieve 80 % of total credit hours as prescribed by the SEC .

If You Are Away...

If you are absent for the day, for medical reasons or otherwise, you will receive no points for that day.

If you have to leave early, or if you arrive late, you may only receive points for part of the day.

Non-Compliance

If you are non-compliant, your tutor may tell you during the first few days or weeks of non-compliance.

If you remain non-compliant, Performance Advisory Notices (PANs) may be issued or notes may be placed in the class notebook.

You are responsible for ensuring you are compliant and remain so.

Failing the Daily Assessment/Attendance Category

If you are failing the daily assessment/attendance category during your course, you will be considered failing the daily assessment/attendance category of the course, and, therefore, the entire course.
