Goods Vehicle Minor Maintenance is a task of maintaining goods vehicle to ensure that the vehicle is always in a good condition. This competency involves analyse goods vehicle minor maintenance requirements, plan goods vehicle minor maintenance activities, carry out goods vehicle minor maintenance, evaluate goods vehicle condition and report goods vehicle minor maintenance activities.
The modules are specifically designed in-line with the National Occupational Skill Standards TP-326-3:2013. The outcome of this competency is to ensure commercial vehicle is well maintained and safe to operate in accordance with Road Transport Act 1987, Land Public Transport Act 2010, Malaysian Standards (MS) and Mandatory Periodic Technical Inspection’s requirements.
HRD Corp will be introducing a service fee that will be imposed to HRD Corp registered training providers starting from 1 February 2021 as stated in Training Provider Circular no.3/2021. In line with the implementation of the service fee, HRD Corp has revising its terms and conditions for course registration.
As such, HRD Corp Claimable Courses course registration process has been simplified to allow different type of courses to register.
The changes on HRD Corp Claimable Courses process are as follows:
- Training providers do not have to provide complete course content.
- The minimum requirement for trainer is 1 (one) trainer only. No minimum for e-learning (self-paced) course.
- The minimum total duration of the course is 4 hours.
